Fragrance development process

Our fragrance development process begins with inspiration drawn from New Zealand's unique landscape. We work with carefully selected fragrance oils, each chosen for its quality, complexity, and ability to tell a story.

Our blends are intentionally subtle. They don't announce themselves loudly. Instead, they settle gracefully into a space, becoming an integral part of the atmosphere you create.

Each scent profile is designed to evoke specific emotions—calm, depth, warmth, clarity. We believe fragrance should enhance a moment, complementing rather than dominating your experience.

Testing & Refinement

Candle testing process

Before any fragrance reaches our collection, it undergoes extensive testing in real environments. We burn candles in our Auckland studio, observing how they perform, evolve, and interact with different spaces throughout the day.

This rigorous testing ensures that each scent maintains its character from the first light to the last. We test burn times, scent throw, and how fragrances develop as the wax melts.
